The Next Generation of CareTracker

Customers that upgrade to CareTracker Gateway will see all of the same functionality that they’re used to with CareTracker today, but they’ll also have access to many additional tools, including the following:
• Staff Messaging Module,
• ChargeTracker Module,
• Resident-Centered Programs Module,
• Multi-Language Module,
• And, the new Clinical Intelligence Tool

Plus, CareTracker Gateway customers will have access to new services that are being developed specifically for that platform, including:
• Time and Attendance Service
• Wound Management Services
•  ...and many more to come


Clinical Intelligence Tool
The Clinical Intelligence Tool that is integrated into CareTracker Gateway is a very sophisticated data analysis engine. It is the kind of tool for which major corporations typically invest hundreds of thousands of dollars. But, through Gateway, we are able to provide the strength of this tool to all sizes of organizations, and it’s included in the standard Gateway fees.

The Clinical Intelligence tool is able to pour over the millions (or even billions) of resident observations that have been entered by your staff and quickly spot potential resident issues areas before they become a problem.

Imagine being notified in advance of residents that are:
• Not eating or drinking enough fluids
• Having constipation issues
• Losing weight too fast
• Consistently declining in ADL performance.

Imagine how you would react if you knew these things before they showed up as dehydration, malnutrition, impaction, or worse.

Large corporations will be able to expand the use of this data even further, because they will be able to monitor this data across all of their facilities and recognize trends.


Software as a Service
CareTracker Gateway is a new “Software as a Service” platform. “Software as a Service” means that the software is hosted by Resource Systems. Because it is all hosted by us, CareTracker Gateway eliminates the need for facilities to invest in additional information technology infrastructure. In addition, the hosted environment enables Resource Systems support staff to take a highly proactive approach to client care including system monitoring, system updates, maintenance, backups, and problem resolution.
