Time and Attendance Service

Overview
Accurate tracking of staff time and attendance is of critical importance to organizations for proper payroll and benefit processing. Payroll accounts for the highest percentage of costs within a long-term care facility and is often one of the areas where tracking and reporting is done poorly. In addition, staff members typically have little access to be able to monitor their own benefit information, so they rely heavily on management staff to provide them with information.

Kiosks as TimeClocks
The Time and Attendance service from CareTracker enables staff to use the already familiar CareTracker screens for time and attendance tracking at the CareTracker kiosks while also accessing HR and benefit information.

Staff can quickly punch in and out while allocating time between various departments worked and performing corrections as necessary. Staff will be unable to document via CareTracker until they have punched in through the Time and Attendance service, assuring that they don’t forget to clock-in.

Much more than Timeclocks
The Time and Attendance service features a Human Resources portal though which staff can access vacation, benefit, and scheduling information for review. Staff members can submit scheduling changes and vacation requests through kiosk and management will receive notification of these requests for review and approval.

And, of course, they’ll be able to use the same kiosk to document resident observations, respond to messages for their supervisor, or fill out employee satisfaction surveys.


InFRONT partnership
To build the Time and Attendance Service, Resource Systems partnered with InFRONT, a leader in access control and workforce management for more than thirty years. Time and Attendance information is submitted to the InFRONT system for verification of pay rules and processing of HR information.

InFRONT provides interfaces to various widely used payroll systems so you don’t have to change Payroll vendors to use the CareTracker Time and Attendance service.
